Photos taken on trips through the Veneto in May 2012 and June 2013. In the Valpolicella zone, stops at Azienda Agricola Brigaldara in San Pietro in Cariano and Tenuta Sant'Antonio in Lavagno. Each property specializes in the production of Valpolicella and Amarone, but both offer white and rosato wines as well. In the Soave Classico zone, a visit to vineyards in Monteforte d'Alpone and the cellar of Azienda Agricola Prà. Tasting through four different expressions of the Garganega grape, along with a couple reds to pair with some cured meat goodness in the form of the local sopressa. Leisure time on Lake Garda, strolling the waterfront and backstreets of Bardolino, an area that utilizes the same Corvina-Rondinella-Molinara recipe of neighboring Valpolicella to make even lighter and fruitier reds. In Verona, putting down the Negroni and Aperol Spritz just long enough to take pictures of Piazza Bra, Piazza delle Erbe, Torre dei Lamberti, Antica Bottega del Vino, and statues of Girolamo Fracastoro and Dante.
