Wine, food and travel photographer based in Raleigh, North Carolina
Although I studied photography in high school and film production in college, the camera took a back seat for a long time while I pursued a career in music - my first love. I played guitar and worked in recording studios throughout Atlanta from 1999 to 2006, with a few highlights along the way.
As the late nights, bad hangovers and uncertain nature of life in music were starting to wear thin, I began to transition into the wine industry. Since 2005 I have worked in wholesale and retail positions, and have been lucky to travel quite a bit along the way. As much fun as it is to eat and drink in a foreign country, the most gratifying aspect of travel has been reconnecting with my love of photography and using it to document the landscapes, vineyards, culture and culinary traditions of some of the world’s most exciting wine regions. Along the way I released VinoBurger, a cookbook based on the wine world's great cuisines.
My photography isn’t limited to food and wine, but it is most often fueled by those passions both at home and on the road.
