Jeff Bramwell

Wine, food and travel photographer based in Raleigh, North Carolina

Although I studied photography in high school and film production in college, the camera took a long term back seat to a career in music. I was unaware of it at the time, but my part time job at a wine shop in 2004 would eventually pave the way for a return to photography.

After several years in wine retail and wholesale, travel to wine destinations became an important part of my education and growth in the business. Initially a simple point-and-shoot camera was adequate for capturing noteworthy moments in vineyards and cellars. After an upgrade in camera gear, photography became my preferred way to connect with people, understand their craft, and ultimately experience (and sell) wine.

Over the course of nearly twenty years in the wine business I’ve been fortunate to travel extensively, meet amazing winemakers and learn about the culinary traditions of their area. It became my great passion to use my photography to tell the stories of real artisans sharing their wine and food with the world. Since 2017, I have been working with wineries, importers, restaurants and more. My photography isn’t limited to wine and food, but it is most often fueled by those passions both at home and on the road.
